Reports said he is no longer India’s first choice wicket-keeper. Selection chairman MSK Prasad also explained on the same stating that they are looking across formats at Rishabh Pant as India’s first-choice wicket keeper.
“Virat feels that Dhoni has no fitness problems and, if needed by the squad, can proceed until next year’s T20 World Cup. The logic is that the Indian think tank will not want any other wicketkeeper in the squad while grooming Pant.
